I had a similar exeprience. I’m 27 and noticed thinning throughtout my crown area. I began noticing it in college when I was perming. It continued to thin when I had my daughter at 23. I think my dreads made it worse(had them for 6 years), or maybe it was going to thin anyway! Just cut my dreads off. My derm. has me on a mix of nioxin and something else??? It’s too soon to tell the results. What are you using now? How’s your hair comming along?
When I was first diagnosed I was on two perscription meds for my thinning, one was a solution I applied topically and the other was a pill, it has been so long ago that I forgot the name of them. As of now I am back to relaxed hair after being natural for a year or so. My hair is alot healthier, yet I am still thin(not as thin as b4 though). I wear lots of protective styles nowadays, and I am in love with wigs.
i have neighbours who are africian or africian decent and they change their hair almost weekly, when they say hello on the street out shoppping even at school when i’m droping off my son , i find it hard to regognise them,to make it worse i am very good with faces , but thoose wigs extensions change the shape of the face

I pray that your efforts to restore your hair are successful. Either way, you’re beautiful!
