very thin … a healthy baby should work fine and loss of hair is an indicator that something is wrong. If you are concerned go see a doctor and see what it really is.

If the baby is actually losing a considerable amount of hair I would go to see your GP/doctor. It’s always worth asking someone knowledgable who will be able to tell you one way or another if your baby needs treatment.

I can put up with people asking questions on here about their own health but for a baby!? Seriously check this with an actual doctor

The ohmygosh and thegoodl… person are right on!
I would give you each 5 stars if I could!

Lots of babies are bald to begin with. At 2 weeks it’s not like you expect them to have a full head of hair or anything. I know a girl who got alopecia when she was 2 months old, and I got it when I was 11 months. 2 weeks seems early, but the odds of ANYONE having alopecia are pretty slim (only 2 million people in America – mostly children). So I’d say your best bet is to ask your doctor.
