Question by : Does thinning and breakage near the crown ALWAYS mean male pattern baldness , or can it be something else?
The reason I ask , is because It was kind of a sudden onset….Instead of gradual . I noticed a patch of hairloss in late December 2010 , and it has not really worsened…Infact the hair has grown a little longer in that area.

I also HAVE NOT noticed any receding in the hairline or near the temples….. Which goes hand in hand with male pattern baldness.

my older brother gets that.. he is patchy bald one month and seems to somehow look like its grown back another..he was told it was stress related..

question is the thinning and rupture of the crown almost always tell male pattern baldness, or it may be something else ?
The reason I ask is because it was a kind of a sudden …. Rather than progressive. I noticed a patch of fall protection in late December 2010, and it has not really gotten worse … In fact, the hair has grown a little more on this I domaine.J ‘also noticed any decrease in the hairline near the temples or ….. Baldness happens to both young and old men. What’s the cause? Looks like there’s no cure or Steve Balmer of Microsoft with his billions would have had a head full of hair. I am getting worried and I am trying various organic kitchen stuff for cure. Bee honey is one that I have tested recently. I read also an article that wounding the scalp would work. Any expert advice?

This is what i put: pattern baldness is controlled by the allele B, which is dominant in males but recessive in females.

i got the answer wrong though and i need to know it for my test.

According to my biology teacher, even though albinism is dominant in females, it doesn’t show because albinism is a trait only effective for man.

I am a 25 year old male. My hair has been dramatically thinning the last few years. I also have a “bald spot” at the back of my head.

My Dad doesn’t have a lot of hair on his head, and neither do his brothers. My Mom’s Dad also didn’t have a lot of hair on his head (he was bald like how Dr. Phil McGraw currently is).

It can be. Although given you already have a bald spot I think your hair is not long for your head.
