Is There A HairLoss Cure?

March 11th, 2010

Our hair is part of who we are, and perhaps just as important, who society perceives us to be. This is particularly true as we start to get older, where balding is perceived in a negative light both by those of the opposite sex, those in our workplace, as well as those in our social circles. So finding a hairloss cure, or at the very least a solution to slow it’s progression starts to become more of a priority with each new bald spot recognized.

A shortfall in the hair replacement cycle is what is causing our loss of hair. Even the smallest imbalance can cause noticeable balding over time. There are numerous causes for this imbalance including hormones, heredity, rapid weight loss, autoimmune disorders,  fungal scalp infections, certain medications, diabetes, extended high fever, and physical and/or psychological stress just to name a few. Let’s briefly cover a few of these.

Diet: An unbalanced diet will not only make you feel bad but cause hair loss as well. Certain proteins, minerals, and oils are vital for hair health.

Stress: Stress is perhaps the most often overlooked cause of balding. When you are under stress blood is diverted from the scalp to other areas deemed more important by the body.

Heredity: Is either mom or dad showing signs of pattern baldness? If so you may have inherited a condition known as androgenetic alopecia. This is an androgen driven form of hair loss accounting for nine out of every ten cases of balding in men and one out of every four in women. Androgenetic alopecia is the most common type of balding and a hairloss cure for this condition has yet to be found.

Fungal scalp infections: Bacterial or fungal infections can scar the scalp if left untreated. Once scarring has occurred a hairloss cure will no longer be possible. Many natural hair re-growth products contain tea tree oil which is consider to be a natural anti-fungal remedy.

Diabetes and Lupus: Certain diseases including these two can cause balding and should be eliminated from the list of possible causes before embarking on a hairloss cure program.

In summary, finding a hairloss cure is about first identifying and treating the underlying cause, allowing FDA approved treatments such as minoxidil (topical) and finasteride (oral) to achieve their expected results. While not as important as finding the underlying cause taking action early is still very important. The reason for this is that even the best hair re-growth formulas are only able to produce new growth about 30 percent of the time.

What Next? There are currently a handful of hair re-growth products (specially formulated for both men and women) which have been proven effective both in blocking harmful hormones and bringing the all important dead hair follicles back to life. These specially formulated treatments can be used both as a preventative tool, starting before hair loss becomes severe, or after loss of hair has become noticeable. Whatever the level of balding or thinning you are experiencing these products could be just what is needed to overcome this latest life challenge.

Baldness Causes and Types

March 11th, 2010

Most people lose between 50 and 100 strands of hair daily, with little impact. As hairs fall out naturally, new hairs grow in. So there is no need to despair if you spot a hair or two in your sink. However, with age this natural regrowth process may slow or stop, and thinning and baldness may occur. If you are concerned about it, see your doctor for an evaluation to find out if your hair loss is due to an underlying medical disorder.

Most doctors believe men should think deeply before using any remedies for hair loss because the treatment options are so limited.

Baldness isn’t a life-threatening condition, and it is easy to spend a lot of money trying to restore a full head of hair.

While it’s all very well being told how you ought to feel about the loss of your hair, if it starts to dint your self-esteem, it’s probably worth seeking treatment.

Like your skin and nails, your hair goes through a finely tuned cycle of growth and rest. Excessive hair loss can occur at any time this delicate cycle is upset.

Different types of baldness

# female-pattern baldness

Although less common, female-pattern baldness differs from that of male-pattern baldness in that the hair generally thins all over the head, but the frontal hairline is maintained. Female-pattern baldness rarely results in total hair loss.

# male-pattern baldness

Male-pattern baldness usually is a hereditary condition. The condition may begin at any age. Hair loss often begins on the front, sides, and/or on the crown of the head. Some men may develop a bald spot or just a receding hair line, while others may lose all of their hair.

Most men are genetically predisposed to male pattern baldness. It is the effect of hormones on the hair follicle that produces male pattern baldness. Testosterone, a hormone that is present in high levels in males after puberty, is converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) by an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase. DHT has an adverse affect on the hair follicles. Acting on a hormone receptor on the hair follicle it slows down hair production and produces weak, shorter hair, sometimes it stops hair growth from the follicle completely. This process gradually depletes your stock of hair and i

Baldness has always been a hot topic in boardrooms, bedrooms, laboratories. As Melbourne dermatologist Dr Rodney Sinclair points out, it has been a prime matter of conversation “for about 1000 years”.

Hippocrates noted that castration saved the eunuchs in the Persian army from baldness — but stopped short of recommending it as a treatment. The belief that a hairless scalp is a sign of manliness has persisted, however.

In business, baldies do well, and the fashion for aggressively shaved heads looks like an attempt by men to reassert their dwindling authority.

Causes of hair loss

There are many causes of scalp hair loss. This article will cover the common ones.

In general, most hair loss is not associated with systemic or internal disease, nor is poor diet a frequent factor. Thyroid disease can cause hair loss, but thyroid tests on people who have ordinary hair loss are usually normal. Although many medications list “hair loss” among their potential side effects, drugs are also not overall common causes of thinning or lost hair. On the other hand, with cancer treatments and immune suppression medications, hair loss is not uncommon.

Alopecia Hair Regrowth – 3 Magic Steps!

March 10th, 2010

If you believe that alopecia hair regrowth is a task too difficult, consider this. It really is an extremely easy to understand, since there is only a simple question. . . nutrients, the hair follicles free!

The reasons for hunger are incredibly easy to understand, too. In all reality, you only need to deal with three. And these are not even remotely difficult to handle, creating a wonderful opportunity for complete regeneration of hair!

Hair Regrowth Alopecia – a quick warning:

Just to be honest, before too excited, there’s something I have to say. The reality is that your condition can be cured. What? Patches Well, if you let the hair loss untreated for an extended period of time and have 100% and the bald scalp, then it may be too late.

If this is the case, the options may be limited to surgical restoration methods. It is always advisable, of course, that you consult a dermatologist or other health professional about your particular case, and the options that are available.

The three phases described in this article are intended for men whose hair loss is still treatable. This plan addresses the three causes of hunger follicle that is causing your condition. I’m wishing the best for you!

Hair Regrowth Alopecia – Step One:

You should feed your blood!

It’s a simple concept. If they do that life support be available to your hair follicles poor, then how on earth can you grow your hair? In short, it will happen. Therefore, it is absolutely vital that consume the nutrients that your follicles are hungry.

These minerals and vitamins are always valuable vitamins B, E and A, magnesium, zinc, folic acid, and copper.

While eating nutritious foods like fruits, vegetables and whole grains is the ideal vitamin and mineral supplements are certainly encouraged by the fact that all the nutrients that have already measured for you, eliminating any guesswork. Also, food seems to be increasingly deprived of the quality of nutrition in recent days.

Hair Regrowth Alopecia – Phase two:

DHT Fight!

Dihydrotestosterone or DHT, is the leading cause of death by starvation in the follicles those of us with baldness androgenetic alopecia (male pattern).

This heinous attack follicles are connected to your impotent, disabling them to take life, supporting blood feeding. In fact, DHT suffocates the hair to death! But you can put an end to it.

Anti-androgens, also known as DHT blockers, can be used. The most popular of these is finasteride (Propecia). The FDA has approved this solution for hair loss is very positive.

However, a number of men who have suffered long-term effects caused by sexual side taking finasteride. These include low libido, inability to perform, and sterility. And although the reality is that these are fairly rare, affecting only 1 or 2 of every 100 men, many men just do not think it worth the risk.

For these men, there are natural alternatives. One of the most effective DHT blockers in the world of nature is the Saw Palmetto. Another great all natural DHT blockers include Pygeum extract, pumpkin seed oil, and zinc. Of course we can not ignore the importance of using a DHT block well.

Hair Regrowth Alopecia – Phase three:

The blood flow in the scalp!

I do not care what foods are obtained or how well to block DHT. If insufficient blood flow and keep the hair quickly, then the hair is still a big problem. Your task is to find a way to restore blood flow.

Go ahead and minoxidil. The only other FDA-approved treatment for men hair loss, minoxidil is thought to open the blood vessels in the scalp, effectively restoring the supply of nutrients to the hair follicle to die. With the simple application of a 5% minoxidil for the scalp every day, countless people have received incredible new growth, sometimes from the day!

Hair Regrowth Alopecia – Final Thoughts:

Following this plan, you are giving yourself the best chance of success. The concept is very simple. Enriches the blood, the DHT is derived from the blood and feeds on blood to the follicles of hunger. This process is common sense. . . and very effective!

A product that makes these three important things at once is Provillus.

If your condition is still treatable, and you want a closer look at Provillus, you are invited to do so now.
