Is there a gene that makes a cancer patient undergoing chemo or radiology immune to hair loss?
I listened to my friend that there is a gene that makes it immune to hair loss while undergoing chemotherapy or radiology. She is full of junk or is the real deal?

We’re not saying it is full of shit, misinformed. Not lose their hair during chemotherapy or radiation. . has to do with the dose and type of drug, not genes. No one is immune to radiation during hair loss, if the dose is high enough for a sufficiently long period of time. Both my parents had chemotherapy, do not lose your hair. My mother was radiation, but only 3 treatments, which still has not lost much hair at all. But again, it’s not genes that make the difference. We were told they would lose lots of hair by the type of treatment.

Is this the same friend who told her BC pills to keep hair loss during chemotherapy? Once again, it’s full of shit. . . as you say. Not all chemotherapy make you lose hair. Hair is lost to radiation in the area that mirata.Hey Dave, I take the chemotherapy does not cause hair loss. Radiation to the head. . . Where was and where it came from total baldness caused in these places alone. Why not his wife, is because it was the head, but chemotherapy for BC is known to cause baldness. The hope is doing great! Keep the comics coming, Dave! It really helps! Give it your best.

The radiation does not cause hair loss, but chemotherapy can not. You do not know that different people react differently to the toxins that chemotherapy is the drug kills the cells. My wife has lost her hair back quarto.Cresce management, loss of hair is not what worries us is more of a survival thing that enters the mind, the cancer does not cover their hair, is of survival and hope .

Radiation can cause hair loss in the exposed surface. It does not cause hair loss generalizzate.Alcune forms of chemotherapy, the risk of hair loss. Depending on the drug, this may be a small risk, or if a drug was given to me, more than 99% chance of losing capelli.Mentre is possible that the gene has some influence on why some patients and others do not loose hair, with a particular drug, no test was done in this theory because it serves no useful purpose and could not be done to expose many people in good health to chemotherapy as a control group . Nobody in their right mind would volunteer, and anyone with any ethics would suggest.

Never lose their hair in chemotherapy and radiation, the hair is lost only locally. depends on how the chemo medicine and give the body’s reaction to it. also research the type of chemotherapy drug and see how often causes hair loss. I do not think there’s any kind of gene, pills, medicines or treatments to prevent hair loss. If you want your hair during chemotherapy / radiotherapy, a wig. help, my friend says that with sarcoma feel much better! I personally have not yet had the hair loss. well, weight loss, but nothing significant and remarkable.
