Is it true that pomegrantes reduces hair loss?

I heard that Pomegrante reduce hair loss in men and really help grow hair? Has anyone else heard before or just a myth? My mother listened on the radio for a local doctor. I was not trying to sell a product or nothing. He said only that the juice Pomegrante Pomegrante eat or drink helps reduce hair loss or help to grow.
