Indeed :0) u know to add insult to injury, the hairdresser started saying how terrible mixed race relationships and children were whilst butchering my hair. . . . she was Antiguan. . . and said she never wanted to waterdown her race. . . hmm. . . I bet she got a lickle mix in her blood somewhere he he. . . :0)

Hi Calpico. . . its a chemical hair product that straightens afro or curly hair of other ethncities. . . there are a lot of brands each with different ingredients. . . can be done in the salon or at home. . . either way, best done by someone who knows what they are doing. . . they can burn off hair and cause chemical burns to the scalp if not used correctly. . . personally their long term use damaged my hair. . . but I also know ladies who have a good hair regiment, relax and their hair is OK :0)

Yeh the reverse of a curly perm. . . it breaks down the basic bonds of the hair to make it go from curly to straight so u can imagine thats a whole heap of stress on the hair
